Floriade is one of Canberra’s most highly anticipated annual events, attracting thousands of visitors each year. In 2024 Floriade is celebrating its 37th year with the theme Art in Bloom, with over one million beautiful flowers transforming Canberra’s Commonwealth Park into a vibrant canvas of colour and creativity. This is a must see-event for anyone visiting Canberra, and Mercure Canberra thrilled to be an official accommodation partner of Floriade 2024.

This year’s program will be bigger and better than ever with art exhibitions, entertainment, family-friendly events, music, food and drink, a range of artistic and horticultural workshops, markets and more!
There will also be the return of the favorite programmed events such as Dog’s Day Out and Great Big Bulb Day.

Entry to Floriade is free, and the gates are open from 9.30am – 5.30pm daily. Last admission is at 5.15 pm.
